2026 | Airport Trail Shelter

This 36’x18’ shelter is situated at the Airport Trailhead to the Rim Trail. It also features benches and interpretive panels with information on landmarks that can be seen from that viewpoint, including Navajo Mountain, Tower Butte, LeChee Rock and the old Navajo Generating Plant.

The club thanks Page Steel for donating the materials for the project, Jason Hatt of Creation Structures for construction and the City of Page Parks & Recreation Department for making this project a reality.

2025-2026 | Rim View Trail Memorial Benches

As a fundraiser, the Canyon Club purchased 10 six-foot long customizable benches that were dispersed along the Rim Trail at scenic overlooks. Each was sold for $2,000 and personalized for each donor. Due to the success of this project, plans are underway to provide something similar at other portions of town.

2018 | Grandview Overlook

Grandview Overlook sits on a sandstone knoll above Page, offering one of the most complete lake‑and‑desert panoramas in the region. Completed in 2021 through a partnership between the Canyon Club, Page Steel and City of Page, the site includes benches, safety railings and interpretive signs that identify surrounding landmarks. The overlook doubles as a trailhead, connecting visitors to the 10‑mile Page Rim Trail and the shorter Discovery Trail.

2016 | 4-H Club Animal Barn

For many years, our local 4-H Club endured a make-shift shanty style facility in which to raise their animals, built mostly out of plywood and wooden pallets. This project gave the club a new facility specifically designed by its members that would provide them with the flexibility they needed in which to house and care for a variety of animals.

2013-2014 | City of Page Memorial Plaza

The Page Memorial Plaza includes a memorial wall with individual plaques of local Military, Firefighters and EMS personnel who have lost in the line of duty.  Integrated within the memorial area is a paver section dedicated for local citizens to purchase engraved bricks honoring their loved ones.  There is also an interpretive area with beautiful photographs of local attractions, an illustrated timeline describing the history of Page, a regional map, flagpole and stage area for demonstrations and presentations.

Final completion and formal dedication ceremonies were held on May 2, 2014.

2011 | Horseshoe Bend Ramada

Constructed as a mid-way resting spot along the original path leading to the famed Horseshoe Bend overlook, this project served hundreds of thousands of visitors for many years who visited from all around the world. Situated at the high and mid-way point of the trail, visitors found refuge from the summer heat while venturing along the trail. In 2018 the City of Page, in conjunction with the National Park Service, constructed a new ADA accessible trail to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook, rendering the shaded overlook inaccessible. So, in 2020 the City of Page relocated the ramada to its current location in the City of Page Sports Complex Park.

2008 | North Lake Powell Blvd Overlook

Located on the north end of Lake Powell Blvd. and situated at mile 0 of the Page Rim View Trail, this overlook serves locals and visitors alike as a shady rest and relaxation spot to take in the beauty of Glen Canyon, Vermilion Cliffs, the Lake Powell National Golf Course and Bryce Canyon in the distance.
